Here I have an antique solid gold buckle in the shape of a heart, set with green and blue turquoise and split pearls. It's been converted to a pendant at some point, though a jeweller could easily remove this to return to its original use as the prongs still move perfectly and are in excellent order. The heart is a high carat gold, as with many antique pieces it's unhallmarked but I ran it through my electronic professional gold tester and got a reading of 16ct or higher for the pendant and 14ct or higher for the hanging loop. The later addition bale part is gold plated base metal.

It's 1.8cm wide by 2.0 cm high (excluding the bale).

It weighs 2.6 grams.

Pleas note: The ribbon is for display only!

In excellent vintage condition: all the stones and their settings are perfect. As mentioned, the bale which is the only non-original and non-gold part shows signs of wear to the plating. There are some numbers scratched lightly into the back (pawnbrokers numbers by the look of them) and some light intentionally made scratch marks (probably by the same pawnbroker to do an acid test on the gold).
