SOCK MONKEY Number 711

This sock monkey was handmade with love and hopes to be cherished for a lifetime.

Every child (or those who are young at heart who never did grow up with one) should have a sock monkey. They are a symbol of ingenuity in North America and a traditional toy made for generations by mothers and grandmothers for their children all over the world.

Made the old fashioned way from a pair of Rockford Red Heel work socks this monkey measures 15" high and 15" from one arm to the other. Sitting it measures 8" high and it's tail is 7 1/2" long. His eyes are black plastic buttons sewn on with black thread.

Due to having button eyes, this particular friend is NOT RECOMMENDED for babies or small children. Although they are securely sewn on, they would not pose much of a challenge for a determined chewer.

If giving this friend to an older child, please be responsible and know that the child is beyond chewing and can appropriately play with their toys.

h&n sock monkeys are highly collectible and are numbered with a patch.
