Gorgeous journal made from a vintage book which has been previously well read and much loved, but was, quite frankly, looking quite sad and sorry as the book it was.

Measuring 7 3/4" x 5' {1 1/4" thick} it contains approximately 120 pages of 110gsm {medium-light weight} blank recycled paper.

This journal has an exposed spine and I have used beeswaxed linen bookbinding thread to bind the pages with longstitches and kettlestitches, as well a two mixed fabric piecings and a ribbon tie closure.
Lies flat when open.
A decorative paper covers the inside of both the front and back cover.

I use these as all-purpose, every-day, go-to notebooks but you may use it for anything you can possibly think of...........journaling, sketching, writing your shopping lists, doodling, keeping score on game night, blog planning, whatever!
Would be a wonderful gift for a young crafty girl.

The cover tells the tale of it's life, it's been around a while and you can tell, you can see this in the pictures.
Beaten and battered and stained and beautiful.
