This stoneware tea bowl has a beautiful combination of a black/brown tenmoku and wood ash glazes. The subtle throwing rings and irregularities complement the flow of the glazes. The inside and bottom are glazed with a light olive green celadon. Measures a little more than 3" tall x a little over 4" wide (7.7 cm x 10.2 cm) and holds 12 oz.

Wheel thrown and fired to cone 10/11 (2360 F) in a gas kiln. This temperature is at the top of the firing range for ceramics and makes the clay strong and vitreous.

Food, microwave and dishwasher SAFE.

Each item is individually made by me on the potter's wheel using my custom clay and glazes that I formulate. I take great care and pride in my work to make sure I offer the best product I can. I hope you enjoy using them as much as I like making them.
