Rhythm and blues style man's skinny necktie. In Fantastic Condition! Looks like it's never been worn! Features a unique woven-in checkerboard pattern of blue, yellow, orange, red, purple, teal, gold, teal, and navy-striped squares that also form loose horizontal bands. Gil Truedsson the first designer ever, to hook up directly with Sears featuring his "Boston Athletic Club" line of tailored clothing, sportswear and shoes. His mens' wear line was also featured in several department store catalogs; Nordstrom's Men's Edition, Rawlings & Adirondack Spring & Summer '74, J. C. Penney Fall & Winter '74, and Montgomery Ward '74 Fall & Winter. He applied for patents for some of the design features of his men's shirts in this same time period.

In 1979 he received a special award for men's shoes at the Coty Fashion Awards. He was also the winner of the Fashion Designer of America's 1994 Men's Wear Designer of the Year award.
