Getting married? Why not actually "tie the knot"?

This handfasting cord is braided using the ancient Japanese art of kumihimo, and is composed of 12 separate strands of 2mm satin rayon cord. Cord colors are ivory and turquoise. The braided section itself measures approximately 60" with an additional 6 1/2" tassels at each end, with a diameter of between 3/8" and 9/16". That's a little over 6 feet total length. After the ceremony, slip it off of your clasped hands with the knot intact and it makes a great display item to remind you of your vows.

Cord ends are sealed to prevent fraying.

Not only perfect for weddings, but also for pagan handfastings, interfaith or nonreligious ceremonies, and civil union ceremonies.
