This is a nicely balanced piece that makes a nice close fitting ring. These two crystals just grew this way in the crucible, I likes how they've locked arms assuring that each shares the fate of the other. I'm just saying, it's a nice reference to friendship and familiarity.

The ring is adjustable. Just a little squeeze, and it fits any finger. (see pic two)

About Element 83,
Bismuth is a rare and little known metal, (only twice as abundant as gold in the earths crust). The crystals form under the liquid metal as it slowly freezes, (at 520 F). They come out of the molten metal the color of silver. Then they "choose" their own colors in the next few seconds, as they gradually change from silver to gold to purple to cerulean, etc. Its awesome to watch, and it never gets old! It stops when it "feels" like it, (and when it drops below a certain temperature).
The bismuth's weight is similar to silver's. There is only one mine in the world made specifically for it's extraction. As an artist, scientist and technician, I am obsessed with this metal.

The ring size is adjustable. See the 2nd picture.
The crystal is about 3/4or a little under 2 cm long.
