Wooden point presser and clapper sewing tool and pressing aid for professional results.

The narrow top piece is like a mini-ironing board with a sharp point for pressing seams and hard to reach corners. To use, slip the seam wrong side up over the point and press.

The wider bottom piece, the clapper, is used for setting permanent creases , crisp edges and flattening bulky seams. This part is also called a pounding block. It achieves sharp edges and creases without excessive heat that might damage fabric.

The unfinished hardwood is smooth and ready to use (there are a few small dents in the wood along the edge of the clapper but they are not rough). The anvil shape makes for an interesting objet d'art.

Shipping is by Parcel Post with tracking; cost is dependent on destination (will range from $5.94 - $11.33). For destinations outside of US please contact me. Combined shipping available. Please see Shop Policies for additional information -
