10"x13.25 wall plaque

These wall plaques are influenced by the adornments from historical tombs as well as the pieces from a chess board. The strategy game has been long seen as a metaphor for life's challenges, the pieces metaphors for class and duty. this is juxtaposed with the allegory of the Danse Macabre, no matter one's station, all are united by mortality and the fragility of life.

Visor is movable and attached to the helmet with steel pins.

cast in high quality resin and hand painted, brass hanger on the back.
