The Bopha Gypsies used to play music for the royalty of Rajasthan, India. They are a nomadic tribe who live in the desert and make their own instruments. These days their caste is not so glamorous or needed. To feed their large families they now play for the tourists on the street.

I first met this man and his family in Pushkar in 2008.

In the background you can see the lake being dug up and cleaned. This is another story in itself!
