Comorant Boat from Windang Lake series

Size: 485mm x 430 mm including frame
Watercolour Gouache and Charcoal on Arches Watercolour paper float mounted and professionally framed in white timber.

This work was completed recently and was a finalist in the James Kiwi Watercolour Prize held in Wollongong City Gallery NSW Australia.
I painted this work drawing inspiration from the Lake close to where I live. There is an old wooden boat that is tethered close to shore and is home to many comorants. The comorant is a personal symbol I have used in many works. I grew up on the other side of the lake and my family owned a boatshed there so it is quite a personal subject for me and continues to be a recurring theme within my work.

I will post internationally and ensure that the work is well packed and use Australia Post International Platinum Service for door to door delivery with tracking and signature.
