These IBM clocks are iconic and everyone remembers staring at one in every classroom in America. They are also in demand for collecting and for decorating having been shown in a couple magazine covers.IBM also partnered with an overpriced US Co. to do a remake of this clock selling for what is it $265 ??? yikes!
These were originally wired directly into a wall to a central system that regulated all the clocks in the building. People have since taken to rewiring them and also fixing them to run off of batterys. The serial # is shown in one pic for more info, it measures 13 3/4" and is appr 3" deep. It is very heavy about 6 or 7 #. It has been rewired is my guess as the cord is white and does not look original. There is no glass on the front but it should be easy to find one to replace it,there are clasps that turn to hold the glass in place.I think it was easily removed to change the time perhaps? It has a brushed steel frame and has an idustrial vibe, making it great for alot of todays decor. It looks good without the glass also since the clockface is also metal and has taken on an aged patina. I Have not cleaned it up at all and am selling it as I found it. It does run and seems to be keeping good time. It would be a great piece on its own or great for someone who restores them.

Thanks so very much for looking and if I can be of any help ???? just send me a convo.
