This vintage 8mm movie camera, the Revere 8 Deluxe Power Zoom, dates to the early 1960s and comes with the original box and manual. It is equipped with high-quality Wollensak f/1.8 raptar zoom lens, with wide angle, normal, and telephoto settings.

The camera winds with fold down crank on the side and has a button on the side to run it. One innovative feature is the "Mechanical Heartbeat" button on the left side; put your finger on it and you can feel an irregular pulsation that tells you the film is advancing properly.

The camera case is gray, black, and silver metal with a great mid-century style. It has a strong woven wrist strap at the back. It comes with the original cardboard box with a cutout on the inside to hold the camera securely, plus the original manual for models 141 to 144. Also included is a type A daylight filter and box (Tiffen Photar #85 Series 6); I believe it's the right size but I haven't been able to get it on the lens.

The camera is in very good condition with little wear to the case and all dials and knobs moving easily. Everything seems to work fine--it winds and runs and all the knobs move, but I haven't tested it with film. The box is musty and has some wear but is basically pretty sturdy.

Size: The camera is 5 1/4 inches tall x 4 1/2 inches deep (excluding lens) x about 2 inches wide (13.4 x 11.5 x 5 cm)
