Art Deco bracelet from the Chicago World's Fair, 1933, Century of Progress. Two tone warm golds that look almost matte by day, and satiny contrasting finishes by night. I've been collecting Chicago Worlds Fair bracelets for years, and this is the first time I've encountered this one. At the center of the bracelet, Instead of the spinning planet logo, the Sky Ride Exhibition - where visitors could get a "birds eye view suspended in mid-air". The bracelet also features The Temple of Jehol, The Travel and Transport Building, Fort Dearborn, and Hall of Science. There's a beautiful warm depth to the piece, attractive marks and scratches, a beautiful coppery ombre patina, and an eye-catching sheen. An outstanding, lightweight and handsome piece of history with an uncommon set of Exhibits.

Just shy of an inch / 2.5 mm tall
