At the time, in the 1960's and 1970's, the L. A. Free Press was an underground weekly filled with its' intense, crazed coverage of the counter culture, radical politics, deep interest in the arts, music, and it's infamous want ads and personals - and it seemed normal for that moment in time. Seeing the issue now, it was an amazing pastishe crazy quilt of a frenzied overview or inside reporting of so much that was going down at the time. And to top it off, it had incredible advertisements, in many cases, specifically tailored for the newspaper, ads for adult clubs and adult bookstores, and adverts for groups, clubs and concerts, by artists that at the time were just starting out or making their way up the ladder. Now so many are considered classic or icons.
Non-stop tumultuous, weird, deranged, free-spirited - a looking glass back to the formative past.

In Very Good Condition.
No cut outs, no missing pages, no writing, no rips or tears other than normal newsprint slits/minute tears at some page edges and small tear at spine fold. Light tanning/yellowing of newsprint which is hard to capture with the image, with the patina of age, time, shelf life and counter-culture idiosyncrasies.
