Saddle rim Oregon is in a remote central eastern border area with Idaho. Near the famous graveyard point. It produces sagenites in a fairly wide variety of displays from the typical dear hair to radial sprays to white tubes similar to the Ochoco types and masses of jumbled moss filaments. They form in thin seams in hard rock. Remote and difficult to mine and scarce in occurrence, these are a rapidly diminishing in availability.

One of the picks of the litter in this batch of Sagenites. Very clear chalcedony, intense soft fawn sprays of sagenite needles, rarely seen so grouped or prominent.
Back is polished but has some surfaced inclusion pitting.
This one is for the best setting you can design.
Just incredible.
