The Little House series is so full of wonderful quotations, stories, and lessons! This copywork download captures some of the best moments and words in each chapter of The Little House in the Big Woods... AND adds some creativity to the penmanship process! There is a page of copywork for each chapter, along with an activity or coloring prompt that goes along with the reading.
Your students will be able to trace grayed-out (yet clear!) beginning PRINT lettering and then be able to solidify the story even further by drawing Ma leaping into her rocking chair, share what they personally stuff in their pockets (Laura's broke because she put in too many rocks!), and at the end of the copywork book, they can illustrate what their favorite things about "now" is while copying a few of Laura's. (The photos included are just a few samples.)
Feel free to make as many copies for as many children in your personal family as you wish.
