This wall installation in raw, unglazed white porcelain disappears in a clean, minimalist room interior and reappears when light penetrates the room.

Atop a piece of a porcelain forest sits a modern white architectural form. Designed after the stone foundations and grass rooftops of the houses of the Faroe Islands, this modern form represents a sense of homeland amidst the jutting rocky islands in the sea between Iceland and Norway - a land that is breathtakingly pure and naturally beautiful. The bark-textured forest shelf mounts on the wall, and the house can be placed on top or moved about, to capture the shadows, the light, and your imagination. Each piece I create is personally inscribed.

This purchase includes one (1) Forest shelf with one (1) Faroe Islands architectural sculpture. Shelf measures approximately 15 cm (6 inches) tall x 5 cm (2 inches) deep. House measures approximately 3.2 cm (1 1/4 inches) tall.
