Vintage Mentor magazine, 1919 issue, "England Under War Conditions", with 6 frame-ready original prints. This issue is Volume 7, Number 1, February 15, 1919.

The Mentor magazine was the creation of William David Moffat, a Princeton grad. He wanted to "give people, in an interesting and attractive way, the information in various fields of knowledge that they all want and ought to have. The information is imparted by interesting reading matter, prepared under the direction of leading authors, and by beautiful pictures, produced by the most highly perfected modern processes."

Each issue focused on a specific theme, and consisted of a dozen pages of illustrated text. In addition, each issue included “exquisite intaglio gravures", loose prints of famous art or photographs. The reverse side has a brief lesson about what the print represents. These prints were not bound, but are loose and beautiful for framing.

The 7" x 10" booklet is in very nice condition, complete with no tears or writing, some minor edge and corner wear. There is some yellowing as you can see, particularly on the cover.

Wonderful collector's item, or to create some beautiful vintage framed art.
