Beautiful watercolor and ink portrait of a woman, slightly surreal and almost cat-like in nature.

It's an original piece, signed by "JAC" and dated 1974. The paper is in very good shape, though slightly yellowed on the edges, as expected from its age.

On the other side of the painting is an unfinished watercolor an ink portrait of a man. See fourth photo.

Discovered recently at an estate sale in New York City.

The full name of the artist is not known, but he specialized in slightly abstracted, modernized faces of people. I just love the lines and the drama of his work. Any of his pieces would look great in a mid-century modern home.

I have more original pieces by the same artist:

Dimensions are 11 x 14 inches.

This piece will ship in a reinforced mailer to prevent the paper from bending or folding.
