I've painted the towering spires and buttes of Monument Valley onto a library card catalog card for the 1960s book “The National Parks of America.” It's sunset, and the valley floor is covered in purple shadows while the monuments still glow in the light of the setting sun. This vintage card has “National parks and reserves — pictorial works” typed in red letters at the top. It has a faint crease in the upper right corner, adding to the historic character of the card.

The card is 3 x 5 inches and the painting is done with gouache. Ships in a clear archival sleeve tucked inside a protective cardboard photo mailer within 1-3 days of receipt of order.

I also sell mini easels in my shop if you want a convenient way to display a card or print. Free shipping on second items from my shop.
