What an intriguing and outstanding treasure this is. I will start with the back side. It is signed 12 Charme. Stamped into the clay is the number 15 and a maker's mark that looks like a coat of arms. The maker's name is under the stamped 15, but unreadable to me. written on the frame is the cameo measurements and R 212 R

The cameo is 2 3/4x 3 3/8. The frame is 6 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide. there is intricate raised work on the face of the frame. The cameo has fine detailing in the hair and face. I do not see any scratches gouging the paint on the cameo.

I am placing this item in Jewelry even though it is custom framed to admire on the wall. This frame however should be surrounded by another frame for hanging purposes. This would look wonderful on an easel as is.

This piece will be shipped via priority mail, insured and delivery confirmation. If you are out of the USA and want to buy this, please request shipping information to me prior to purchasing this cameo. Thank you.
