Golden green pear colored vines branch out over a black striped background in luxurious silk habotai. A soft and fluid line defines the edge of the golden green and black striped pattern. And depending on how you wear it, it looks as if you’re wearing two scarves.

Update your wardrobe…
- An all seasons lightweight silk habotai, in the autumn wear it with a sweater, turtleneck or jacket and in the spring and summer you can toss it on over a tank or tee
- Gorgeous accent piece with both "classic" and "casual" styled linen and wool pieces in the natural color family.
- Spectacular with black - yes even that "little black dress."
- And of course denim - especially with that favorite pair of blue jeans!

Versatile, you can wear it...
- Wrapped or tied around your neck or shoulders.
- As the trendy European loop.
- Tie it around your waist as a hip scarf or wrap for dance or exercise.
- Simply tied around the straps of a bag or purse
- Draped over your shoulder in the style of a sari as in the last two photos.

Note the last two photos are a variation with 2 vertical green stripes in silk crepe de chine, sold.

Content: 100% silk habotai with hand rolled edges and hand washable.
Size: approximately 8" x 52" (20 x 132 cm)
Shown on size 8-dress form.
Colors: green golden pear and black.
Techniques: this scarf/wrap was folded, twisted and wrapped around a pole in the style of Nejiri shibori with the golden pear silk dye applied directly and then steam fixed. The floral vine pattern was stenciled using a rice paste resist or Katazome, followed by hand painting with black silk dye.
Hand Washing this Silk Scarf is Both Fast and Easy.
Care: Gently hand wash in warm water with mild soap or hair shampoo. Rinse with warm water a few times. Gently squeeze, do not wring. Roll in clean dry towel to blot excess water.
Hang to air dry.
