Beautiful antique book featuring lovely illustrations and black and white photographs of Canadian plants. First published in 1928, "Botany For High Schools" was used in Ontario schools to teach field Botany for beginners. Topics include everything from ferns to seed germination to fungi.

The book is in good condition with a few pencil marks, including some notes in the margins, yellowing of pages, marks of discolouration, and fading text on the front cover. All pages appear to be intact and though the book shows its' age, these "flaws" result in a wonderful rustic character.

Hardcover, 239 pages.
Authors: Cosens & Ivey, Educational Book Company of Toronto, 1928.

Fun facts:

>Original price shown is 65 cents

>There is a student's name written on the first page, likely signed on the first day of school! "Winnie Barnes, Sept. 4 1928"
