1960s, maybe late 50s, quilted, embroidered satin bed jacket – glamour and practicality wrapped up in one gorgeous little jacket!

- No tags of any kind, but would best fit a modern Medium. Both jacket and lining are satin, most likely polyester-blend satin (hand washable).
- Embroidered flowers in alternating squares are blue, pink, and green. The quilting thread also changes colors from pink to blue to green. Subtle and very pretty!
- Closes in front with loop and one clear, feels like glass, button. It’s possible that the button was replaced and moved over to make the jacket fit more closely. Small patch pocket on right side.
- The shoulders are not padded, but the tops of the sleeves have darts with what feels like a little half-circle of padding underneath.
- The jacket could be reversible, and looks like it was intended to be, but the previous owner machine-stitched a popped seam of the left arm lining from the outside instead of on the inside.
- Condition: excellent. Lightly worn, no holes or stains and no stress marks. Two or three tiny, unnoticeable (unless you hunt for them) poly-picks. Gently laundered and stored in plastic.

Miss Truvey Mannequin’s measurements are 32½-24½-34½ and she stands about 5’7½”. Please compare the measurements of this jacket to the measurements of a similar garment that fits you well. Any questions, please ask! I’ll be glad to remeasure anything you need.
