Longer description...
Amulets for your pocket (cordless styles) or for around your neck...

I recommend part 1 where you not only learn to cut and fold a snugly fitted box for the base of the amulet, but also an intro to embellishing the lid, base, as well as rim of the box with textured polymer clay. Part 1 includes a printable template, Part 2 does not. You can choose to purchase a prefab box here:

While you can use store bought match boxes, as they can be painted and decorated, their sliding lids may fit loosely which could represent a problem for wearability. They would however be suitable as pocket amulets. The handmade boxes have more grip to their sliding mechanism.

Part 2 is the continuance of Part 1. "Inner Sanctum Amulets" covers more in depth the finishing and personalizing of boxes, covering the box with polymer clay, applying textured elements, antiquing, a couple of stringing and beading options, adding decorative wire and bead elements, as well as personalizing the inner part of the box.

Recommended for intermediate to advanced.
