This is a circa 1980s "lay down" frosted perfume bottle that is in unused and excellent condition. It measures 5 1/4 inches in length by 1 1/2 inches at its widest point. The dauber rod has a high polish finish. The bottle is clean and bears no trace elements or lingering odors suggesting previous use. The frosted bottle appears to be machine made, as there are matching seams on each side (see Photos #2 and #5). The faceted glass ball top has a prism effect under light. The silver cap has the appearance of pewter or a metal alloy. It screws onto the bottle securely for a tight fit. There are no markings or hallmarks indicating manufacturer or origin.

This pretty and unusual perfume bottle would make a teriffic addition to someone's collection of womens vintage vanity items, or a great display piece in a vignette.
