Description

Once upon a time, I made a line of cards with gorgeous pressed botanicals mounted onto my handmade paper. (See the last two photos for examples of the "Garden Variety" cards and invitations I used to make! This listing is only for the pressed flowers in the first three photos and none of the other materials.) I grew all of the flowers in my own garden, picked them at their height of color, then pressed them for many weeks. While I waited for the flowers to dry, I made batches and batches of handmade paper to complement the flowers and leaves. I added herbs and spices to the pulp to make handmade paper that had flecks of color and loads of texture and interest.

I no longer make this specific line of cards so I am cleaning out my studio and offering these lovely embellishments for your craft projects, to make your own greeting cards or to frame as is in a collage picture frame.

You will receive the 10 pressed hydrangea blooms shown here. I mounted them to the handmade paper more than 6 years ago, so you know they will stay adhered for you. I hope you get as much joy out of them as I have!

Beautiful cards for sad circumstances. Quick shipping and the note the seller included was very thoughtful.

Perfect! I know the measurements are given but it’s different when you can actually hold it but they seem bigger than I had expected! My mom had to put down one of our family pets a few months ago and she took it extremely hard. I think adding this into her Mother’s Day basket will hopefully lift her spirits. Thank you!

FAQs

I ship every day, Monday through Friday, via USPS First Class mail. I wait until the afternoon to take orders to the post office to capture as many orders as I can. (But I will go early in the day if my customer has a time issue like an Express Mail drop-off.) So it may take as long as 24 hours for your package to be shipped but it is often much less. And if you want to know a little secret, I live within walking distance from a post office so sometimes, and especially on nice days or if I have an errand to run, I will make a second trip to mail something if I get a sale late in the day. I often ship on Saturdays, especially if it's a beautiful day to get outside!
I do not wholesale my plantable products but I do wholesale my Petal People pressed flower art cards. Please inquire for more information.
Because of customs regulations for shipping live seeds to other countries, I do not offer international shipping on my plantable products but do ship my Petal People cards internationally.
Because I get so many donation requests, I have had to limit those charities to whom I donate. I now only donate locally, and to companies and charities with whom my family is directly involved.
Yes! However, I am very selective who I give my products to, and I don't give them very often. I will need proof of a certain amount of consistent readership, as well as evidence of cross-promotion on social media, and a well-established presence in either the crafting world, wedding market or another audience that hits my target customer base.
When I package up an order, I print a shipping label in my studio. Once the label is printed, an email is automatically sent with tracking info, but your package has not been shipped yet. When I drop off the package at the post office, it is scanned with the postal gun. The postal folks don't transfer that information from the gun to their computer system until after 5 pm when they upload the scans into their computer. It can still take a few more hours for tracking info to appear on the website. If you have been sent an email with tracking but it isn't showing up, just check back a few hours later or the next day.
