*TREASURY ITEM* Here is an antique French lithographed tole kitchen towel rack from the early 20th century with a lovely geometrical Art Decò design, light beige background and orange-red writtens and design.
The four labels distinguishes a kitchen towel for a specific use: hands ("mains"), dishes ("vaisselles"), knives ("couteaux") and glasses ("verres"). This was very useful before automatic dish washers, when everyone still washed their dishes by hand and in this way it was easy to dry plates (which could be greasy), separately from glasses...and hands...and knives!

This piece is in good conditions, the hooks are all intact, they only have some paint losses, another paint loss is near the bottom but doesn't interest the lithographed part, and you can read very well the labels. This would be great to add a French retrò charme to your kitchen decor and of course could still be useful for its original purpose and hold four kitchen towels.
Dimensions: 13" long by 3" wide.
