This driftwood root would be good for aquarium or terrarium use, floral, taxidermy, or as a base for orchids or bromeliads. It is nicely sun bleached in places, the darker sections still have some bark attached. There is no soft wood, but the 'arms' are a bit fragile. I remove any soft or weak wood, clean them, and rinse with boiling water to disinfect. It is otherwise untreated. In an aquarium, the arms will soften and break from the tips down after a year or so, the rest should last for several years. It will stain the water for a while and will not sink by itself for a few months. It will stand by itself on the sides, but not on end. Price includes shipping
