I grow these ferns in my garden in the shadow of a camellia tree.
I pressed and dried them naturally , and then, set the leaves into the pendant preserving them inside resin.
This pendant is 3 cm in diameter and hangs on antiqued brass chain which is 45 cm long, but i can shorten or enlarge it upon request at no extra cost.
Please, note that colours may differ a little depending on monitor settings.
I have been working with dried flowers for years, since i was a student, making herbariums for my botanical subjects, and then, started handcrafting bookmarks and framed compositions with dried and pressed flowers.
I wanted to join this technique with my jewelry handcrafting, and the "Herbarium collection" is the result. All the flowers and leaves in this jewelry collection are from my garden or have been collected during our country strolls.
You can see more pressed/preserved flowers and leaves jewelry here:
All this process is my handmade, so, please note that tiny bubbles may occur during the resin curing process and there might be minor imperfections in the flowers too, since they have been naturally dried.
I recommend to store your pressed/preserved flower jewelry in a closed dry place, away from light when you are not wearing it. Keep it away from water and humidity too.
Do not wear your jewelry when swimming or sunbathing for a longer life.
The flowers and leaves have been naturally dried, so they made fade a little with light and time.
