This is a beautiful and practical very old antique glass bulb oiler with brass fittings in excellent very clean condition.

It was made about 1910 by the Lunkenheimer company out of Cincinnati, Ohio which was established in 1862. This company made all kinds of brass fittings, oilers and large train whistles.

In excellent clean condition and it doesn't appear to have been used. No chips or cracks in the glass. "Lunkenheimer" name is molded on the glass bulb.

I tested it with water and appears to work fine, dispensing a drop at a time.

See last picture for image from the 1910 catalog for similar glass oilers with instructions.

These old oilers were used by machinist to oil their machines and tools.

A nice collectible display item. Perfect industrial historical item. Nice for steam-punk collectors as well.

Measures about 6.5" tall when brass stem is extended out. Glass bottle is about 3" tall and 3" in diameter. Brass screw on top fits snugly and has a cork "washer" in very good condition.
