This listing is for one paper doll magnet, Anika. She was hand-drawn by me probably when I was 12. I made her when I coaxed my brother into making some paper people, too. He finally gave in and made 2 paper people that are her relatives. I imitated his style when I made her.

Anika loves country music and secretly wants to have a singing career one day.

When you purchase Anika you will receive a print of the original illustration, glued to a backing of recycled cardboard.

When I first drew Anika, I used ink and colored her in with crayons. Recently, to add some design, I used a sharpie for the patterns on her clothes. I glued the magnet to the cardboard backing.

I made about 300 of these guys from the time I was 9 to 13. I guess it was a way to express my view of the world around me. When I stopped creating paper people I packed them up into a shoe box and stuck them under my bed. :(

But, a year ago I decided a great use for these childhood drawings would be to adorn your refrigerator as a magnet. You could collect a whole family of them for your kids to play around with on the fridge or they can brighten up your office space.

Anika and her bio card will arrive safely in a cello bag, wrapped in tissue paper, inside of a secure envelope.
