This unique necklace is made from the handle of a vintage sterling Colorado Springs souvenir spoon! It features the rugged peaks of The Garden of the Gods, and the chain is accented with a 6mm Morenci turquoise bead. Lobster clasp. The chain and all other findings are sterling silver. The cut-out above the mountains is original to the spoon, and just adds to its coolness.
To make this necklace, I cut the bowl and shank off the spoon, and then I carefully grind and polish the cut edge smooth and punch holes to accommodate the sterling jumprings that link it to the silver chain. Since this is a real, vintage item, there may be a few minor scratches and scuffs. Consider it part of its vintage charm!
It measures 20" long. If you would like it permanently shorter, please convo me - I can shorten the chain upon request.

WOW!!! This absolutely gorgeous champleve and filigree Bonbon spoon that Kim has so cleverly and beautifully crafted into an extraordinary pendant is truly a work of art and heart!!! It's even more stunning and amazing in person...amazing in its own right from an aesthetically pleasing view. Then add in that has been made from such a pretty, vintage utensil given a second, highly delightful, bright, and bold purpose.
