This mala is linked to the essence of the Water element. Water is the element of the emotions, psychic forces, dreams, and the subtle side of life. The beads are white, the colour of Water in the Buddhist system. This mala has been consecrated on the edge of Lake Ontario (the 14th biggest lake in the world) with a full japamala of the mantra of Water, as well as an evocation to spirits and angels of Water to bless this mala and the work done with it. A great choice for someone who focuses on Water in their work, or who struggles to keep Water balanced and flowing in their life.

Malas are often called Buddhist prayer beads in the West. They’re a string of 108 beads, plus three “gem” beads representing the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, or the Teacher, Teaching, and Community. Malas are used to count mantra recitations, prostrations, and ritual performances. More than just a counter, malas become powerful magickal tools and charms in their own right as they pick up the essence, energy, and merit of the work that is done with them. Malas are useful as a focus in rituals, or to repeat chants, prayers and mantras (a full 108 recitations is a japamala). They can then be worn as a dedicated charm to that goal. Each mala was patterned, constructed, and consecrated by Kalagni.
