This square pin was poured in two layers of clear resin. The first layer with a purple pressed flowers, and the second layer with a Grateful dead 60's album cover on blotter paper placed in the center.

Q:What is resin/epoxy?
A: a thermo-setting resin; used chiefly in strong adhesives and coatings and laminates

Q:What is blotter art?
A: Blotter Art is a term that originally referred to the absorbent paper that liquid LSD was sometimes dropped onto though out the 60s and 70s. Artwork was printed onto "blotter" paper and then perforated into tiny squares or "hits," which could be torn apart into easy to manage quantities.
