Need Soap? This heavy, old brass soap tray is in great condition, and the best over-the-tub rack for when you remodel the bathroom to accommodate that 1920s claw foot tub. This brass tray is in tact, and all brass wires and loop tub "handle" are tight and sturdy. No claw tub? This soap dish will sit flat on its own until your old tub arrives. Aged brass, deep gold color with some wear spots and tarnish. The brass is smooth, no dents or dings, and all wires are straight with no bends or breaks. There are 11 wires across the bottom counting the two side wires. The dish is 5 1/4" from side to side, 3 7/8" deep from front to back, a generous size for soap or a big bathing sponge.
From front to back the dish slopes to a deeper dish. The back height is 1 1/4". The loop handles are 4 5/8" high, and there is a 2 3/4" spread between the loops (between the loop coming off the back of the dish to the end of the loop in the back).
Time for a bath. Find your soap.
