1920s temperance story Roast Potatoes by Rev. S. N. Sedgwick. Blessed with a colour frontispiece and a small number of black and white illustations. Not dated but writing at the front reveals it was presented in 1924, could be a bit earlier.

A novel featuring a stallholder who people called Old Roasty who pitched his stall outside a public house that it might be handy as he was a drunkard.

This has some wear and a few marks. A previous owner's name and address are in pencil on the inside back cover.

It measures roughly 4.5 x 7 inches or 115 x 170mm.
