we love this charming framed motto, which we think dates from the 1930s or 40s. the words "Mother If I could tell you Mother Dear How much I think of you, I know you ne'er would shed a tear, For anything I do" are written on the back side of the glass. (you can see the shadows of the letters in our photos, you don't really see them in real life).. the glass is on top of a bucolic scene of a red-roofed house on a hill, printed on paper.

the piece is framed in metal painted to look like wood, and it measures 7 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches in a 1/4 inch deep frame.

so sweet! great wall decor for your cottage or castle. a great gift for a new mother, the mother of a teenager, or anyone who has a mother.

vintage nostalgic "MOTHER" framed motto, reverse painting on glass
