Clarence and the Purrmeisters were THE kitten cat combo of the 1930's. Even Lucius Grimalkin's Scratchenbiters weren't as popular. Nor were the Katerwaul Kids, famous for the swing tune 'Nappin' After Hittin' the 'Nip," which was covered by practically every kitten cat act, even to this day. (The Kids were VERY big in the South, but their raucous appeal was lost on much of the rest of the country. )

Note that in addition to getting a piece of kitten cat musical history, you're also getting to help keep down the numbers of homeless pets! 10% of the purchase price will be donated to The Spayed Club (www.thespayedclub.org) to help fund spay/neuter work in the 5-county Philadelphia area.

So while you're all getting acquainted, deserving (real live) cats, dogs, and the occasional bunny will be helped!!

The whole gang are in marvelous condition overall; only imperfection is a little paint loss.

Everyone's about 2" tall.

They're unmarked, but it's more than likely they began life in Japan, or if not, in Germany.

You may be floored to learn this -- I know I would be --, but there is actually similarly awesome stuff everywhere in my shop. Take a look!!

And if you're a fan of the the vintage and the antiquey you really ought to bookmark us -- we list 10 or more new old items every week!

Wishing you all God's blessings!
