Beautiful, lustrous suri alpaca fleece from beige Frankie. Even though it's raw and unwashed, I hope that you can see the shine in this fleece. It's fine and lovely.

Frankie lives at Linda and Cindy's farm, ShadyHollowSuriAlpacas, over in the thumb of Michigan, Bad Axe. You can go here to learn more about them - http://www.alpacanation.com/farmsandbreeders/03_viewfarm.asp?name=10531

This is the last pound of Frankie's 2012 fleece.

There are two main types of alpacas.
The Suri has a very straight fiber that forms long, tight locks, but has no crimp.
The Huacaya is more common and has a crimpy shorter fiber. Huacaya have a Teddy Bear look.
