Gift For Him Mens Felt Fedora Hat 1920's 1930s Men's Hat Men's Accessories Fall Fashion Custom Men's Hat Man Hat Handmade Hat Men's Style
I blocked this high crowned Fedora hat using a thick fur felt in a medium brown color.
The crown is trimmed with a 2 inch wide distressed ribbon, finished with a frayed edge bow.
This hat was made the way hats were made before the 1950s. The fedora style pinches were added using steam and hand manipulation.
The last picture shows a similar hat before the final "shaping", they way it looks when it comes off the vintage wooden hat mold.
The result is a handmade hat very different from the mass produced Fedoras we know today.

Place a measuring tape on your forehead just above eyebrow level and pass it around your head, ensuring that the widest part of the head is included. Common sizes for women are about 21 1/2"/56 cm -23"/59.6 cm. Men are about 22"-24". It should be a snug measurement, I will add 1/2"/1.3cm for ease.
