This is a real beauty. This is a Spartus 35 made by the Harold Products Co of Chicago around 1954. The body is brown bakelite with metal fittings. It takes 35mm film. It has a 50mm plastic lens with aperture possibilities such as "bright," "hazy" and "cloudy." Speeds are I for instant or T for "as long as you hold the shutter open." I haven't shot this yet but it appears to work. I'm not going to try the flash as there is a little corrosion around one foot; flash does not come off. I've seen some really interesting results for this little cam around the web...definitely produces strange and lo-fi pics. Take it out for a spin, or just gaze lovingly at it on the mantelpiece.
Excellent cosmetic and functional condition except for the aforementioned flash foot corrosion.
