Toys for quiet play in a pocket-sized tin box. For ages 3 and up (contains small parts).

It's the size of an Altoid tin, so it'll fit in a pocket or purse, and it's easy to take along anywhere. Because it's a random mix of items that invite varied and imaginative interpretations, children don't get bored with them.

This exact tin is available. The lid is decorated with my original collage in teal, lime and red.

This kit includes:
• a green plastic figure on a skateboard
• a truck puzzle eraser (comes apart in three pieces)
• two sea creatures, a crab and a clown fish, from Safari Ltd. (phthalate free)
• a vintage key with original number label (which I can remove if you like)
• one 10-sided die (for made-up games or a little math play)
• wooden bingo markers
• two flat marbles and one piece of sea glass
• three small magnets, one a blue vintage button and two mini mah jong tiles
• polished stones
• play money from a 1920s Easy Money game
• a bottlecap token — I show a leaping/running rabbit, which has a smiling sun on reverse (from Bell's Oberon, see third photo). You may choose a different one if you like, please see last photo for options.

— and it all fits in the tin!

You can add a mini road trip booklet by downloading a free PDF from Arty Didact on Facebook. The booklet is made from a vintage travel game and the one-page download includes a little information about the game and instructions for making the booklet. The booklet will also fit in this tin.

The kit comes with your choice of bottlecap with a miniature of one of my animal drawings, or Alice or a Dragon in a suit. See the last two photos for choices.

Please let me know if you want a bottlecap that does not mention beer. The caps are mostly from artisan or craft brewers (from my local bistro), but I do have some solid color ones as well as others with no logo or that do not mention the word beer or brewing/brewery, as well as some soft drink caps. I don't make the bottlecap tokens to order, but I do have a lot of them made.

(For a look at what the backs of the bottlecaps look like, see this listing:
