Industrial vintage Dietz No.20 Junior gas lantern we converted into an electric plug-in lamp.

This piece is primarily yellow, with some wear of red color underneath. Was painted at one time. A Thomas Edison style yellow bulb is used. Changing the bulb is the same process as if you were changing the wick on a working gas lantern. The glass portion pops out by adjusting the level, which allows access to the light socket. The cable for the light has a rotary on/off switch.

The bottom of the lantern lamp, where the gas tank use to live, was gutted to allow space for the electrical light socket. It isn't the prettiest, but when displayed, you will never see underneath.

This will add character to any decor!

This is not a reproduction! It is a real antique lantern. Dietz lanterns was made in 1950s. Dietz are manufactured by R.E. Dietz Company.

Measures: 12" x 7"
