Bosom Buddy - Sontag
Please look at the photos!

SONTAG means "Sunday" in German.
Also, from a book entitled" Name Into Word":
"Sontag is a woman's crochet'd or knitted jacket that has long ends crossing over the front and tying at the back; and it commemorates Henriette Sontag (1806-1854), a German operatic coloratura-soprano singer, ennobled in 1826. In 1828 she married Count Rossi.

I've been working on a crochet pattern for a "Bosom Buddy" and have a few proto-types available.
This Sontag features ties at the back.

I've used Red Hear fiber, in Light Grey, which is 100% acrylic.
Machine wash warm gentle cycle and tumble dry low, delicate cycle.

The photos were taken on my fitting body with the measurements of 40 bust and 34 waist.
The shoulders on this sontag are 21 inches.
Each flap (long end) is 27 inches long from shoulder to finished edge.
The back length (from neck to bottom edge) is 23 inches.
Ties are 25 inches long.
