This is a really lovely old ring...featuring fiery old European cut diamonds and intricate and lacy filigree...now reserved for Katie....thanks for looking!

(Katie, I have adjusted the price by $50.00 to reflect your deposit! Thanks so much!)

.** Originally Priced at $400.00! **

Crafted of solid 14K yellow and white gold (the diamonds are set into white gold) there are 7 old European cut diamonds, each measuring between 2 and 2.5 mm in diameter. They are set into a flower-like face that from a distance makes it look like there is one very large diamond.

The diamonds are very bright and fiery and all are completely eye-clean. I would judge the color to be in the range of G-H-I (near-colorless). Under high magnification I see a bit of carbon in one diamond, one diamond has a teeny tiny chip and one other has a very light superficial scratch on the table. All in all, they are in good condition for their age and look very nice to the naked eye. There is pretty milgrain work still showing around the face of the ring....the settings do show some wear and I would retouch the beads holding the diamonds quite soon to keep all the stones safe.

The pierced filigree done in yellow gold is really pretty and lace like...it extends part way down the shoulders and covers the entire undergallery of the ring...allowing a lot of light in to make the diamonds really sparkle. Overall the pierced work is in good condition, though there are a few small spots where peices aren't touching...even under magnification it is hard for me to be sure if this is completely due to wear and age or if it was made that way. Structurally, the ring still seems sound.

The face of the ring measures approximately 8.3 mm in diameter and the rise off the finger is approximately 7 mm...this is a ring with a real presence on the hand!

The band is slender by design, but still strong despite a bit of thinning at the very back where it was once sized. It is still marked "14K" on the inside of the band. The overall weight is 1.85 grams.

Currently a size 4.75 (though with this style of band it would probably still fit a size 5 comfortably) this ring could be sized within reason by a good jeweler who is experienced with older jewelry. **Please read my policies page for more information regarding sizing or feel free to convo to discuss it or to obtain a quote from my trusted jeweler. I'm also happy to help you locate arecommended jeweler in your area!

This would be a very special engagement or promise ring...or perhaps a ring to treat yourself to!

Please convo with any questions and Thanks for looking!
