Vintage McCall Kaumagraph Hot Iron / Iron-on Applique Transfer Pattern. Applique Animals with Flower Saddle Bags. Pattern includes eight animal motifs. Patterns for patch pieces are also included. Eight little animals with flower saddle bags. Use for trimming children's quilts, curtains, towels, dresser scarfs and pillows. The applique pieces are small and can be made from left over scraps of percale, gingham or chambray. The saddle bags are faced and hang loosely. The simple embroidery stitches should be worked with six strand cotton. If used to make a crib quilt, finished quilt will measure approx. 42" X 56" with border.

Some of the transfers have been cut, but are still usable. You can also continue using these after the transfer ink has been expended by tracing onto carbon paper. Instructions for stamping and creating appliqued items are printed on the back of envelope.

Envelope is open on the bottom and a little on one side, but can easily be taped shut. Copyright 1943.
