This piece is so beautiful. It is a five drawer homemade wood tool chest. Each drawer is graduated to slightly bigger than the last. Each one has different partitions. The top opens to reveal some crudely made tool holders and the lid stays open with a basic eye hook/ string type mechanism that the artist came up with.

It was a working tool chest, so there are marks and such all on it. Please use your zoom tool to get a good look. I would be more than happy to take additional pics for you, if you are trying to make a decision.

The top has extras to enhance the piece like a groove and it comes with it's own special cup ring ;-). The chest measures:
20 inches wide
12 1/4 inches tall
9 1/4 inches deep.

This is one fine handmade piece. It would bring lots of conversations to all who see it. I hate to part with it, but would love for it to find a loving home.

On the inside lid, is written in ball point pen, May 1975, but not signed! ( Note to artists of all kinds...sign your work! You are worth it!)

I can only imagine who made this and if it was a gift or a need.
