Fabulous Mid-Century traditional wire birdcage. Perfectly lovely to house your birdies or use as a decorative accent for the home or special occasion. The entire caged top can easily be removed; exposing the large area in the bottom, snap the wire cage back in position ~ great to display plants etc.

This large sized cage has not been altered and is in perfectly "safe" condition to house your parakeets or love birds!

Made by Hoei (Japan) from a sturdy wire metal that securely locks onto the base. There is a long wire handle at the top. The lovely fawn brown [or taupe] colored base is made from a decorative, molded plastic with a white "pull" tray.

There is a large metal sliding "door" on the front with a decorative arch and molded steel accent. One either side of the door is a clear plastic "window" that slides up to accommodate a feeding dish or water.

The cage has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready to use. However, there is some "hard water" staining to the metal (see pic 4). Picture 4 also shows a small area on the white tray that appears to have been "pecked".

This 70+ year old cage is in remarkable condition!
